In a world where genuine compassion often feels rare, the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) of Pentecost University stepped out to remind us of what real love looks like. On Saturday, 12th July 2025, as part of the 𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐀 π†π‘πšπ§πš π–πžπžπ€ 𝐜𝐞π₯πžπ›π«πšππ’π¨π§, the team paid a moving visit to the π‚π‘π¨π¬πžπ§ 𝐂𝐑𝐒π₯ππ«πžπ§β€™π¬ π‚πžπ§ππžπ« in Darkuman, extending beyond just gifts, but a warm touch of hope and veracious fellowship.

The visit was led by PENSA-PU’s president and vice, Elder Collum Appiadjei and Deacon Nelson Impraim. They were joined by full leadership of PENSA, alongside other church members. The home, founded by Apostle Washington, shelters over 50 children, ranging from infants to teenagers, which offer them more than just care. It provides safety, love and spiritual growth.

Upon arrival, the team was welcomed with smiles and open arms by the staff and caregivers. The children, many of whom have faced difficult starts to life, gathered in anticipation. Seeing them healthy, joyful, and spiritually grounded left a deep impression on the team. It was clear that while these children may have been abandoned at some point, they were far from forsaken.

The group didn’t just drop off their donations and leave, they stayed, prayed, and poured their hearts out. Master Timothy Agmenusi, the prayer secretary, led sincere prayers for the children, the staff, and the continued growth of the center. The compound was filled with a quiet reverence and a spirit of thanksgiving.

The gifts including groceries, toiletries, and financial contributions, were thoughtful and practical. But the outreach went beyond donations. The team rolled up their sleeves and got to work: cleaning gutters, clearing waste, and helping to beautify the surrounding community. Their actions spoke louder than words, showing that true faith comes alive through service.

Locals couldn’t help but take notice. Inspired by the team’s efforts, many were reminded of the importance of community responsibility. It was Matthew 5:16 in motion: β€œπ‘³π’†π’• π’šπ’π’–π’“ π’π’Šπ’ˆπ’‰π’• π’”π’‰π’Šπ’π’† 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 π’•π’‰π’†π’š π’Žπ’‚π’š 𝒔𝒆𝒆 π’šπ’π’–π’“ π’ˆπ’π’π’… 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π’ˆπ’π’π’“π’Šπ’‡π’š π’šπ’π’–π’“ 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 π’Šπ’ 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏.”

By the end of the day, laughter echoed, hearts were stirred, and lives were touched on both sides. PENSA-PU didn’t just show up, they showed love. And in doing so, they left behind something truly noteworthy.
